Welcome to (evoke)
(evoke) is the design blog of graphic designer, digital artist, and marketing strategy consultant David M. Anderson. This is a design blog with an emphasis in graphic design – both my own work as well as the successful works of other artists and designers. (evoke) will also cover other aspects of the design industry including design theory, influences on the industry, and the trends that shape where we are now as well as where we are going.
Expect two articles per week. Also, when reading the articles on this blog, come prepared to share your thoughts. With everything I write I am open to hearing the thoughts and opinions of my readers. I want this blog to be a forum where we can open a dialogue about what I write and perhaps all walk away better designers and artists.

Hello everyone, thank you for stopping by my blog – (evoke). For over seven years I have proudly helped lead businesses in achieve their branding, promotional, and sales goals. I have worked as as a freelance consultant, a member of an in-house team, and even operated my own design studio: Aries Design Works based in Oroville, California.
With over 11 years of experience with Adobe Creative products including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, I bring to any project a proven level of competency. Utilizing this software package I have successfully achieved success at designing products such as book covers, identity systems, digital illustrations, and print and web advertising. GOALS:
